The current transportation challenges in JCPS are just the latest reminder of how much our public schools depend on support and involvement from the community. Our ability to overcome these challenges depends on everyone; including our school administrators, teachers, staff, parents, students, state and local governments and community organizations; pitching in and working collaboratively for all our students.
Now is a great time to encourage all our families and community members to get engaged and involved in their schools. And that all starts with joining their local PTA/PTSA and volunteering to be part of the solution. Remember: Every child, one voice.
