JCPS Proposed Tax Increase

JCPS Board of Education voted to increase property taxes up by 7- cents. This breaks down to $70 a year or 20 cents a day for every $100,00 in real estate owned.

This increase will be voted on November 3rd.

The 15th District PTA Board voted to supports this increase. We believe that if JCPS is to work on improving our much needed building, closing the achievement gap, and making structural changes that are needed to propel the district forward.

Here is what JCPS Board of Education voted on where to spend the increased revenue if the tax passes.
